Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how En Yakın Eczane (the “App”), developed by Lekoline (“we”), handles personal data. The App shows nearby open pharmacies and, outside working hours, on-duty pharmacies based on your location, on a map and as a list.

1. Data We Collect

  • Location (latitude/longitude): The App accesses your device location only while in use (while the app is open), to find nearby pharmacies, calculate distance, and display them on the map.
  • Province / district: Derived on-device from your location and used to query on-duty pharmacies for your area.
  • App settings: Preferences such as theme and navigation app are stored only on your device and are not sent to us.

The App does not create accounts and does not collect identifying data such as name, email, or phone number. It uses no advertising or analytics/tracking SDKs.

2. Data Sharing

To provide the service, the data above may be sent to:

  • Our own server (Supabase): processes location and province/district to return on-duty pharmacies for your area. Used per-request and not stored in a personally identifiable way.
  • OpenStreetMap (Overpass API / Nominatim): queried for nearby pharmacy data around your location.
  • Map services: the map is rendered with the Google Maps SDK on Android and with Apple Maps (MapKit) on iOS; the respective provider processes location and map interaction data. Google: policies.google.com/privacy · Apple: apple.com/legal/privacy
  • Directions and phone calls: when you request directions, your chosen maps app (Google Maps, Apple Maps, or Yandex) opens with the pharmacy’s location; tapping “Call” hands off to your device’s phone app. From that point the respective app’s own privacy policy applies. We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.

3. Data Retention

Location and area data are used only for the relevant query and are not stored on our servers in a way that could identify you. App settings remain on your device and are removed when you uninstall the App.

4. Permissions

  • Location (while in use only): to show nearby and on-duty pharmacies. Without granting it, you can still use “Search by Region” by selecting a province/district manually.

5. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect data from users under 13.

6. Your Rights

Under Turkey’s KVKK (Law No. 6698) and, where applicable, the GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, and request deletion of your data. Since the App does not persistently store personal data, you can revoke the on-device location permission at any time from your device settings.

7. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always published on this page.
